Apple has unveiled what it calls its “fastest, most powerful iphone yet” – the iPhone 3Gs.
iPhone 3Gs packs a gamut of features – improved performance, updated 3-D graphics for incredible gaming experience, a 3-megapixel autofocus camera, video recording, voice control, built-in digital compass, a landscape keyboard, Cut, Copy & Paste, internet tethering (you can now share the 3G connection with your MAC and laptop), enhanced stocks applications, built-in Nike + iPod support, voice memos, and even offers accessibility features for the hearing or visually impaired.
Wondering what does the s in 3Gs stand for. It actually stands for speed as it can quickly launch applications. It promises to load applications two times faster than the iPhone 3G.
If you already have an iPhone, you don’t need to buy the new model, just upgrade your iPhone 3G with the free 3.0 software update available on June 17. In the 3.0 upgrade, one of the features of the iPhone’s operating system is called the Find My iPhone that lets you Find your iPhone if you lose it through MobileMe.
iPhone 3Gs retails at $199 (16GB) and $299 (32 GB) – available on June 19, while the previous iPhone model slashed its price and retails for only $99.
