This came out in the August 6 issue of Manila Bulletin in its special section “Remembering President Cory Aquino (1933-2009)” tribute. This took place right after the requiem mass held at the Manila Cathedral in Intramuros, Manila.
The tribute written by Teodoro Montelibano entitled ‘Millions bid goodbye to President Cory’, was accompanied with different photos of the funeral mass leading to the 2-kilometer trip to Manila Memorial Park.
The caption reads “WITH UTMOST CARE. Military honor guard carefully moves the coffin of President Arroyo (wrong caption-that should be President Aquino) out of the Manila Cathedral.” The photo was taken by Tony Pionilla.
This is a no-no in publishing, but sometimes mistakes like this really happen. I’m sure this was an honest mistake by Manila Bulletin.
I wonder what the Palace had said about this.

wow, I’m seeing heads rolling… Nice one Manila Bulletin. Kudos to you.
hehe i’ve heard about this and can’t stop laughing! hahaha.
i guessed everyone who noticed it and heard about it laughed too. ha, ha, ha

kaya siguro, wala masyado nag-react, he, he
haha well a lot of mistakes had committed, like in Ted Failon’s report. Sabi nya “ililipat ang kabaong ni presidente arroyo” (not exact phrase) eh buti nlang ndi masyado halata indi katulad nyan haha poor arroyo buhay pa nipapatay na ^^.
she’s really unpopular with the Filipinos, di mo na tuloy alam kung intentional or just a plain mistake, ha, ha
